This course introduces students to the vital role that small business plays in our national, state, and local economies. Topics covered include the role of small business in the American economy; the characteristics of an entrepreneur; and creating, managing, and expanding a small business. Simulated business situations representing realistic entrepreneurial applications are integrated into the course. The Internet will be used for research to enhance various topics.
