This course enables students to acquire broad understandings of marketing so that they are able to transfer their skills and knowledge between and among industries. Specific content includes economics, distribution, pricing strategies, selling, promotion, internet-based business, social media, and career planning.
Social Marketing 2
As a continuation of the Marketing I course, this offering provides juniors and seniors additional fundamental learning and continues into more advanced marketing topics, increasing the use of computers and other media-based technologies. Additional analyses of career development opportunities are more closely analyzed. Course content includes distribution, pricing strategies, marketing research, finance, and entrepreneurship. A capstone project entails the development and marketing of a new business.
